1 tsp vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 clove garlic, minced
6 pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk and sour cream
1 (24 oz) pkg hash browns
1 cup shredded sharp Swiss cheese, divided (1/2 for top)
Salt and pepper, to taste

Heat oil in a skillet and lightly saute onins and garlic until slightly tender. Add chops and fry until browned. Stir together remaining ingredients and spread into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Arrange pork chops on top, cover and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle reserved cheese and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese melts.
