3 1/2 Cherry juice (100% juice)
4 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon butter
1 box pectin

Place cherry juice in a large kettle. Gradually stir in butter and sugar intil dissolved. Bring to a boil, stir constantly. Add pectin: bring to a full rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute, Stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Pour hot into serilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Tighten caps. Place in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Cover jars with a towel until jars are cool.
