1 (15 oz) can packed pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground ginger and nutmeg
1/8 – 1/4 tsp ground cloves
2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

In a bowl, combine first 7 ingredients. Fold in ice cream. Transfer to a 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with walnuts. Cover and freeze overnight. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Cut into squares. Serves 16-20

NOTE: This can be prepared and frozen weeks in advance.
