2 c. water
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. tomato paste
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 t. Liquid Smoke
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. onion powder
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. paprika
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
Mix everything in order into saucepan on high heat until dissolved. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute then simmer for 1 hr. Store in covered plastic overnight to blend flavor.

PORK SHOULDER
Grill at 200 degrees for 24 hours. Secret is sweet hardwood chips.
