Category: Rubs
Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

2 lbs favorite BBQ spice
1 cup each white vinegar and olive oil

Place the spice in a large pan and pour olive oil on spice to form a texture that looks like wet sand. Add vinegar a little at a time to form thickness of paste. If necessary, continue to add vinegar for a thinner paste. Rub over pork and place in a plastic bag at least 5 hours.

Take pork out of bag and cook at 200 degrees until desired doneness.

NOTE: I usually baste with BBQ sauce during the last hour of smoking and use either hickory or applewood.
