12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
3 large eggs
1 cup real maple syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, maple syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla, and lemon. Mix just until blended.

Sprinkle walnuts into unbaked, prepared tart shells, dividing evenly. Pour filling mixture over walnuts, dividing filling evenly. Bake tarts for 20-25 minutes, until crust is golden and filling is set. Let cool before serving.
