1 lb asparagus, ends removed
1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste

Steam asparagus until crisp-tender, about 4-6 minutes stirring often until asparagus is tender. Cook nuts in olive oil until golden brown. Stir in vinegar. Arrange steamed asparagus on serving plate and drizzle hazelnut-olive oil mixture over asparagus. Serves 4
