1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp white vinegar and honey
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp ground ginger
1 lb shelled, deveined uncooked medium shrimp
In medium bowl, stir together soy sauce, vinegar and honey. Stir in green onions, garlic, cilantro and ginger. Add shrimp; stir to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate 30 minutes, stirring once.
Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade.
Heat grill. Place shrimp on 4 (8 inch ) bamboo skewers. Place on grill 4 to 6 inch from medium-high coals. Grill 4 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, turning once. Serves 4
TIP: Soak skewers in cold water for at least 20 minutes before using.
