3-3/4 cups cider vinegar
2-3/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbsp and 2-1/4 tsp light brown sugar
3/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
In a large bowl, mix together cider vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, light brown sugar, and hot pepper sauce. Stir until salt and brown sugar have dissolved. Cover, and let stand at least 3 hours before using as a basting sauce or serving on meat. Serves 15
