1 tbsp olive oil
1 small red onion, diced
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
3/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 (8-oz) pkg shredded cheddar
1 (9-inch) frozen deep dish pie crust (do not thaw)

Preheat oven to 400. Heat oil in medium skillet over medium high heat. Add onion. Cover and cook until just tender, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Cool briefly.

In a medium bowl add onion and the next 9 ingredients. Pour filling into frozen crust. Bake tart 40-45 minutes until golden brown and set in the center. Serves 6.
