2 to 2 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
1 1/2 cups water
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard and lemon juice
2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp dried thyme, Italian seasoning and pepper

Place steak in a resealable bag. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning meat occasionally. Remove steak and discard marinade. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat until meat is cooked to desired doneness. Serves 6
