4 potatoes
1 onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
4 tbsp butter

Peel potatoes and thinly slice both potatoes and onion either in food processor or by hand. Pour can of condensed soup into an 8 inch square baking dish. Layer potatoes and onion directly on top of the soup, dotting with butter. Bake for 40 minutes at 350. Top with grated cheddar and return to oven for another 10 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serves 4
