Select one cup or more as desired of white button mushrooms.
Wash mushrooms, drain, pat dry and clip part of stems off.
Melt unsalted butter in skillet, and heat until hot but NOT brown.
Add the mushrooms to the butter and toss until the butter is absorbed.

Add an appropriate amount of bourbon to the pan and flambe. (One tbsp per one cup mushrooms works fine. Light the bourbon with a long-handled match) Shake pan until flame dies. Serve immediately with steaks.
