4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp grated lemon zest
1 tbsp minced fresh parsley leaves
1 medium garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp salt
Ground black pepper, to taste

Using a fork, beat all the ingredients together in a small bowl until combined. Just before serving the steaks, spoon 1 tablespoon of the butter onto each and serve. Enough for 4 steaks. Note: This is also good on fish and vegetables.
