1 lb stewed meat, cut into small pieces
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 small head cabbage, rough chopped
4-5 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
Fresh or frozen vegetables (peas, corn, lima beans, green beans)
2-3 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp salt
Pepper, garlic powder, oregano, tarragon, and parsley flakes, to taste
1 1/2 cups shell noodles
1 can tomato paste
1 can navy beans, rinsed and drained

Brown beef and onions in a Dutch oven. Add enough water to fill about 1/2 pan. Add vegetables and seasonings. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 2-3 hours. Adjust for additional seasonings, if necessary. Add noodles, paste and navy beans and stir well. Let simmer another 1/2 hour or until noodles and done. Serve.

NOTE: Freezes good.
