2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 clove garlic, minced
7 cups water
1 tbsp dried basil
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried marjoram and pepper
1 lb red potatoes, cut into cubes
1/2 lb small carrots, cut into small pieces
1 (15 1/2 oz) can cannelloni beans, drained
1 (14 1/2 oz) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen large lima beans
1/2 cup orzo, uncooked

In a Dutch oven, add oil and saute onions and garlic, saute until tender, about 5 minutes. Add water and next 9 ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Add orzo and cook, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until al dente.
