1 (3 lb) tri-tip roast
2 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp lemon pepper and garlic powder

In a resealable bag, combine ingredients and seal. Refrigerate at least 8 hours.

Preheat oven to 400. Lin a broiler pan with foil and place roasting rack on top. Spray with cooking spray. Remove roast from marinade, discarding marinade. Place roast on rack and bake for 35-40 minutes for medium. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing across the grain. Serves6-8
