1 pint jar mayonnaise
1 lb pkg Kraft American Cheese (blue box) shredded
2 small jars pimento
1 heaping Tb sugar

In top of double boiler, layer mayonnaise, shredded cheese, pimento. Repeat. Stir all together. Place over boiling water and whip lightly with a spoon. When ingredients are pretty well mixed. Sprinkle sugar on top and whip it in while still over heat. You must keep the mixture moving or the heat will cause the oil in the mayonnaise to separate. Continue to stir until cheese is melted and mixture is velvety smooth. If oil starts to separate, turn heat down a little. When mixture is ready, remove top of double boiler and spoon cheese into mayonnaise jar. Be sure there is a thin coating of mayonnaise inside the jar. Chill. Cheese will thicken.
