Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

Serves 8-10

4-6 pound beef brisket
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 bottle liquid smoke
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 and 1/2 cups barbecue sauce

First Day: Sprinkle both sides of brisket with celery salt, onion powder, and half bottle of liquid smoke. Wrap tightly in foil and place in a 9x13 baking dish. Refrigerate overnight.

Second day: Pour Worcestershire sauce on both sides of the brisket, wrap tightly in the foil again and bake at 275* for 4 hours.
Then refrigerate overnight again.

Third day: Drain off excess juices. While the brisket is cold, cut into thin slices
(cut across the grain) Put the brisket in clean foil and pour barbecue sauce on both sides. Wrap tightly in the foil and bake at 300* for 1 and 1/2 hours. Serve

This recipe takes 3 days to prepare, but is not really time consuming to prepare. It comes out real tender and is worth the wait!
