4 lb spareribs
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup white vinegar and prepared mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt and hot sauce

Cut ribs into serving sizes. Place meaty side down in a large shallow pan. Bake, uncovered, at 450 for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine molasses and remaining 5 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, reserve half of sauce, and set aside. Reduce heat to 350. Turn ribs over, and bake 30 minutes more. Drain excess fat. Bake ribs 30 more minutes, brushing often with sauce. Serve reserved sauce with ribs. Serves 4
