1 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup honey, or more
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tbsp dry red wine, optional
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon-style mustard
3 lb pork spareribs
Salt and pepper, to taste

Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.

Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper and place on a rack over a roasting pan; cover with foil and bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Uncover and brush generously with sauce. Bake 45 minutes, brushing with sauce every 15 minutes, until tender. Cut into serving portions and serve with remaining sauce. Serves 4
