8 thighs
2 green onions, cut-up
4 slices ginger
1 tbsp sherry
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp peanut oil
1 cups water

Heat oil in frying pan. Add thighs. Sprinkle onion and ginger slices on top. Combine liquids with sugar and pour over thighs. Cover and cook on low heat to desired doneness. Watch carefully so sauce does not scorch.
