Ingredients:
3/4 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Method:
1. Cream margarine and sugar.
2. Add the molasses.
3. Add dry ingredients then cover and chill for an hour.
4. Shape into a ball and sprinkle white sugar on top.
5. Press thinly with a fork and bake for 10 minutes at 375.
