3-Bean Chili

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup red wine
14 1/2 ounces canned tomatoes, broken up
15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
15 ounces red kidney beans, canned drained and rinsed
15 ounces canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and green pepper, cook 5 minutes, stirring often.

Stir in red wine, tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.

Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6.
