4 Portabella mushrooms, stems removed
4 oz. pepperoni or sausage
8 oz. marinara or pizza sauce
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
1 T. olive oil
2 T. garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 t. oregano
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Saute onion and garlic in oil until lightly browned. Add pizza sauce, oregano, salt and pepper and bring to simmer. Bake mushrooms topsstem end down, for 10 minutes then turn over. Add sauce mix, meats and cheeses to tops of mushrooms and bake about 15 minutes.

Prefer sausage to pepperoni.
