  • 40 frozen tater tots
  • 20 slices lean bacon

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Cut bacon strips in half making pieces about 4 inches each.

Place a tater tot on the end half-strip of bacon and roll the bacon around the tater tot, slightly overlapping by 1/2 inch. Cut off any excess bacon and secure the end with a toothpick.

Place the bacon-wrapped tots on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is brown and crispy. Serve hot.

Cook's Notes: Soak toothpicks in a bowl of water before sticking into the tots and hot oven to prevent them from burning.
