3/4 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1 quart cold club soda
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
4 fresh mint sprigs, plus more for serving
Crushed ice
4-6 shots bourbon

Combine 1½ cups water and sugar in a saucepan over high heat and cook until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Pour syrup into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour or up to 1 week.

Combine syrup, lemon juice, and orange juice in a pitcher. Mix in club soda. Add lemon and orange slices and mint sprigs.

Fill glasses with crushed ice, add 1 shot bourbon to each, and fill with sparkling lemonade. Top each with more mint.

Serves 4-6.
