1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, toasted
1/2 cup chopped chocolate, for topping (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 11x8-inch baking dish with foil; coat foil with cooking spray.

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; reduce heat to medium low and stir in marshmallows until melted. Remove pan from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and well combined; set aside.

In a small bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda until combined. In a large mixing bowl, using a mixer on medium speed, beat cream cheese until creamy - about 1 minute. Beat in eggs until well combined - about 2 minutes. Beat in sugar and vanilla until well combined. Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually beat in flour mixture until just combined. Beat in melted chocolate mixture until just combined. Stir in pecans until combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes, evenly top with chocolate, and bake an additional 15 minutes or until set and well risen.

Cool completely before lifting out foil and slicing into bars.
