15 oz box raisin bran cereal (7 & 1/2 cups)
3 cups sugar
5 cups all purpose flour

5 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 quart buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground nutmeg

In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and stir until well mixed. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for 36 hours. When ready to bake preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Scoop the batter into a greased mini muffin pan and bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Serve immediately. These taste best while they are still warm.

NOTE: The batter will keep refrigerated for 1 month. This recipe with make several dozen muffins.
