1 1/4 lb scallops
3 green onions, trimmed and sliced in a diagonal
3 tbsp grated ginger
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tsp honey
2 cups hot cooked rice

Place scallops in a lightly oiled baking dish in a single layer. Combine next 5 ingredients and pour over scallops. Set aside and cook rice.

Preheat broiler. Drain scallops, reserving marinade. Broil about 5 minutes or until they have lost translucency and become opaque. Meanwhile, heat marinade in a small saucepan. Serve scallops over rice and spoon cooked marinade over them.
