1 cup butter, softened
1 tsp finely shredded lime peel
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

In a small bowl, combine ingredients. Beat until well combined. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend. Bring butter to room temperature before serving.
