2 lb mixed greens, washed, dried and stems removed
1/2 lb hickory smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 medium Vidalia onion, chopped
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tbsp Jack Daniels Whiskey
Salt and pepper
Croutons

Combine greens in a bowl. To the bacon drippings, add onions and sugar and cook until onions are transparent and lightly browned. Stir in bacon, vinegar and whiskey; cook and stir until slightly thickened. Pour over greens and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss until green are thoroughly coated. Top with croutons. Serve immediately. Serves 6-8
