16 oz canned peach halves

Crust
3 tbsp butter
1 egg
3 tbsp unbleached flour

Filling
3 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup unbleached flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/4 cup Almond flavored liqueur

1 can peach pie filling
1 tbsp Almond flavored liqueur

Sliced almonds, garnish

Peach halves should be drained, and then pureed.

Crust: Combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg. Add flour, mix well. Spread dough into bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.

Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour. Mixing until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add peaches and liqueur. Mix well. Pour over crust. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250. Continue baking 65 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.

Place the peaches out of the can and decorate the cheesecake as desired. Mix the liqueur with the peach glaze and spread it over the peaches. Garnish sliced almonds, if desired.
