4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/4 inch thickened
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 lb boiled ham, thinly sliced
1/4 lb provolone cheese, thinly sliced
1 tsp dried sage leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp butter
1 (26 oz) jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
Favorite pasta, cooked al dente, drained
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Top with breast with ham, cheese, sage and garlic powder. Roll up and secure with a toothpick.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and brown the chicken in the butter, stir in the pasta sauce and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 12 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Serve over pasta. Serves 4
