Rub
1 tbsp coarsely ground pepper
2 tsp flour and salt
1 tsp garlic and onion powders, sweet Hungarian paprika and granulated beef bouillon
1/2 tsp dried oregano and lemon pepper

6 (14 oz) T-Bone steaks, 1 inch thick
1/4 cup butter

Mix rub ingredients and rub the mixture over the steaks. Let stand at room temperature while grill is heating up the coals to hot. Cook the steaks on a lightly oil grill, basting occasionally with melted butter, until the undersides are well browned, about 4 minutes. Turn and continue cooking and basting for 4 minutes for a rare steak.
