Soup
3 cups condensed beef bouillon
2 cups cubed raw potatoes
1 carrot, chopped fine
1/4 cup canned Italian style stewed tomatoes
1 cup chopped celery with tops
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning, salt and pepper

Meatballs
2 slices bread, soaked in a small amount of milk or water
1 lb ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 crushed clove garlic
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 cup small soup pasta, any type

Combine soup ingredients in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until potatoes and pasta are cooked, stirring often while preparing meatballs.

Meatballs: Squeeze liquid from bread and mix with remaining ingredients . Form into tiny meatballs and brown in a skillet in butter. Add to soup and cook about 5 minutes more. Serve with parmesan cheese in bowls. Serves 5
