1/4 cup pesto
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
Lightly toasted pine nuts
Blend together. Top with nuts. Serves with crackers, bagel chips or tortilla chips.
Variation: Place cream cheese on a microwave-proof plate, and microwave it, uncovered, on high until it begins to melt slightly, about 15 seconds. Remove from microwave and spoon pesto evenly over it.
Return place to microwave and cook, uncovered, on high until pesto is just warm but still thick, 5-10 seconds. Remove the dip and serve with cracker or chips.
