Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

4 lbs pork back ribs, cut into serving-size pieces
6 large garlic cloves finely minced (garlic lovers can use more)
1 tbsp sugar and paprika
2 tsp salt, chili powder and ground cumin
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Favorite barbecue sauce

Rub the ribs with the minced garlic. Place in a greased jelly-roll pan or baking sheet. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 2 hours; cool slightly.

In a bowl combine the next 6 dry spices then rub all over the cooled ribs. Cover and refrigerate for 8-24 hours.

Before grilling lightly brush the ribs on both sides with barbecue sauce. Preheat grill to medium heat, then grill the ribs about 12-15 minutes basting with the sauce.
