Cooking liquid
6 (14 1/2) cans beef broth
2 cup tomato paste
3/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup honey and hot pepper sauce
4 lb baby back ribs, cut into 5-6 rib sections

Rub
Combine 1 1/2 tbsp ground cumin and chili powder

Sauce
2 (18 oz) bottles favorite hickory smoke bbq sauce
2 tbsp red wine vinegar, steak sauce and mild flavored molasses
5 clove garlic, minced

Brine: Combine ingredients in a large pot and bring to a simmer. Add ribs, cover and simmer until tender, turning occasionally, about 1 hour. Transfer ribs to a baking sheet and cool. Rub ribs with spices. Cut ribs into serving pieces. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Prepare grill for medium high heat. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl. Add ribs to sauce in batches. Grill just lightly charted turning and basting often with more sauce, about 10 minutes. Serve extra sauce on the side. Serves 6-8
