2 1/4 lbs boneless beef for stew
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom or golden mushroom soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 lb sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup dry red wine

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot on low heat. Cover and cook 8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Serves 10

I add sliced mushroom and onions. Season with salt, pepper, herbed garlic and thyme. After combining all the ingredients, let it marinade for a little while before baking.

I like cooking it in the oven at 250-300 in a casserole dish. Bake about the same about of time as in the crockpot.

Sometimes I mix in sour cream after taking out of the oven for a Beef Stroganoff.
