1 pkg dry white sauce mix, plus ingredients to prepare mix
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar or American cheese (I use a combination)
1 cup chopped asparagus spears, red bell pepper and quartered mushrooms
4 cups rotini or elbow macaroni, cooked al dente, drained
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 350. While pasta is cooking, prepare sauce according to package directions; add cheese, stirring until melted. Saute vegetables in butter until tender. Combine sauce and sauteed vegetables to drained pasta. Place in a casserole dish and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
