ALMONDINE AND MUSHROOM RICE

2 cups chicken broth
2 tsp parsley flakes and instant minced onion
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 tbsp butter
1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds

In a saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir in rice and butter. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low heat. Cook 20 minutes and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes and fluff rice with a fork. Gently toss in mushrooms and almonds and serve. Serves 6
