1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 envelope dry vegetable soup mix
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled, about 5 slices
Garnish: Shredded sharp cheddar cheese, Additional cooked and crumbled bacon
Dippers: carrot and celery chunks, crackers, sour dough or rye bread cubes

Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Stir in next 4 ingredients; mix well. Cover, refrigerate at least 1hour. Just before serving, sprinkle with garnishes. Serve with dippers.
