1 pkg refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
5 tbsp flour
2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, break up dough and add the oats; mix until well blended. Reserve 1/2 cup dough mixture and press remaining in an ungreased 9 inch square pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine flour, caramel and vanilla extract; blend well. Sprinkle nuts and chips over baked crust. Drizzle evenly with caramel mixture. Crumble reserved cookie dough mixture over caramel and bake an additional 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Run a knife around sides of pan to loosen. Cool 1 1/2 hours or until completely cooled. Cut into bars.
