3 lbs chuck blade steaks, 1 inch thick, slash fat around steak to prevent from curling
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp prepared mustard and horseradish
1 clove garlic, crushed

Season steak with salt and pepper. In a saucepan, combineremaining ingredients. Simmer 10-15 minutes.

Prepare grill for medium-hot coals. Grill steak 5 inches from coals about 35 minutes, turning and basting frequently with sauce.
