1 (8 oz) can refried beans
1/4 cup taco sauce
1/4 cup salad oil
1/4 medium head lettuce, shredded, about 2 cups
2 large tomatoes, cut into bite-size pieces
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Sour cream
4 floured tortilla shells

In a small saucepan, heat beans with sauce until blended, stirring occasionally.

In a skillet, heat oil and fry tortillas, 1 at a time, about 30 seconds on each side or until lightly browned and blistered. With tongs, remove to paper towels to drain.

On plate, place 1 shell, layer one-fourth of each: beans, lettuce and cheese. Repeat layering 3 times. Arrange with tomatoes, onion and sour cream around stack. Cut into wedges and serve.
