1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup chopped scallions
Assorted crackers

Preheat oven to 350. Spread almonds on baking sheet and bake until golden brown, approximately 4-6 minutes. Cool, then coarsely chop and set aside.

In a bow, combine cream cheese and dressing mix until mixed well. Stir in scallions. With a rubber spatula, gather the cheese into a rough ball. Gently roll in nuts until coated. With hands press into a tight ball. Wrap in plastic. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Serve with crackers.
