Category: Brownies/Blondies
Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
6 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups flour
1 1/3 cups cocoa
3/8 tsp baking soda, a little less than 1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Line bottom of pan with parchment paper. In mixer, blend butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well on low.

In a separate bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Fold into batter and blend well, scraping bottom of mixing bowl to evenly incorporate. Pour into pan and place pan on a baking sheet to protect it from over baking. Bake about 35-40. Brownies will be set and slightly firm but not dry. Cool then freeze brownies in pan for 1 hour before cutting. TO cut, unmold from baking pan. Peel off parchment paper and cut into squares. Wrap each in wax paper and keep frozen for refrigerated.
