Category: Sandwiches
Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cornmeal
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder, salt and pepper
3 (6 oz) cod or haddock fillets
1 tbsp butter

2 kaiser rolls, split and toasted
Lettuce, sliced tomato and onion

Place milk in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, combine next 7 ingredients. Dip fish in milk, then into cornmeal mixture. Place on a greased broiler pan; drizzle with butter. Broil 4 inches from heat source for 8-10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

On roll bottom, layer fish, lettuce, tomato and onion. Serve with desired sauce. Replace top. (I like Caesar Mayo – in Miscellaneous sauce)
