1 cup beef consomme or red wine
1/2 cup sliced green onions
2 tbsp lime juice
1 cup beef bouillon
2/3 cup soy sauce
1 cup minced garlic
2 tbsp brown sugar

Score stead on both sides in 1 1/2 inch squares. Combine marinade ingredients in a resealable bag and add steak. Marinade for 24 hours, turning occasionally. Remove steak from marinade; grill or broil. Grill or broil 5 inches from heat source about 7 minutes on each side. Cut meat thinly diagonally across grain of meat.
